JAcKSonEAst Novice Tournament

2020 — NSDA Campus, WY/US

JacksonEast Novice Tournament Invitation

Saturday, November 7, 2020

Greetings Coaches!

You are invited to attend the inaugural JacksonEast Novice Tournament! This is intended to be a low-stress tournament, and we hope it will be a great experience for your students. Like the Novice Workshop, we will allow varsity angels, but we will also need plenty of varsity judges to cover rounds. This year, we will offer LD, PF, CX, DI, Duo, HI, OO, Poe, Extemp, and Congress, POI, and Info. All events will allow manuscripts. For Policy, we encourage you to share your novice affirmative case areas as soon as possible. In Extemp, we will allow students to draw a folder with their topic containing one or more articles on the topic of their choice. The student may use the articles for their preparation and then keep the article to add to their personal files. Please call with any questions about any event.

Registration : Please register competitors and varsity judges on tabroom - http://jacksoneast.tabroom.com

All competitors and judges need linked tabroom accounts. Entry fees are $6.00 per entry.  We would appreciate notification of your intent to attend and some indication of preliminary numbers by Friday, 30 October 2020.  Final entries are due by Friday, 6 November 2020.

Please make sure all participants have signed and turned in the media release form. Copy found here . Entries will be waitlisted until the media release form is turned in.

Platform: NSDA Campus. All events will be synchronous (= live = not pre-recorded).
